New Volunteers Needed

St Paul’s Garda Credit Union Ltd. are inviting applications from members interested in being nominated as a candidate for election to the Board of Directors and Board Oversight Committee for this year’s Annual General Meeting, which will take place in December 2017.

All Credit Unions must implement a Fitness and Probity Regime and these standards apply to all Volunteers on the Board of Directors and Board Oversight Committee.

We would particularly welcome applications from St. Paul’s members (Garda, Civilian or Family) with experience or skill sets in any of the following areas, Finance and Financial Services, Credit, Market (Investment) and Operational Risk, Marketing and Project Management.

New Volunteers will undergo an induction process and will be required to complete an accredited training program to ensure that they have the practical knowledge and skills to carry out their role in a responsible and effective manner.

New Volunteers must ensure that they have sufficient time to devote to the role and the responsibilities associated with that role, applicants should note that the roles of Director and Oversight Committee member are voluntary and unpaid.
